In Harmony - Telford & Stoke-on-Trent

In Harmony Telford & Stoke-on-Trent is a community music-making programme that inspires and engages young people and their families.

Young musicians on the programme work with a wide range of professional musicians and educators to explore their potential through music. Through the various musical activities, In Harmony engages the local community and inspires the next generation through creative learning.

Continuing from 8 successful years at Old Park Primary School, In Harmony Telford & Stoke-on-Trent expanded into two new schools in October 2020 and a further school in September 2022. Working with St Augustine’s Catholic Academy and St Maria Goretti Catholic Academy in Stoke-on-Trent and Hollinswood Primary School in Telford means that our In Harmony programme brings music to over 1500 young people and their families.

Our Telford In Harmony Youth Orchestra is open to young musicians of any ability from across Telford who play orchestral instruments, from age 8 – 18. We work hard to make the music accessible for beginners and challenging for those who are more advanced, but more importantly the orchestra is a great place for making new friends and having fun!
